COMMON UK presents,

Straight from Rochester
The Power of i

Hear all about the hot topics in the world of IBM i direct from the guys from the labs in two intensive days at the Thistle Hotel, Heathrow on the 4th and 5th of November.

Chuck Wallace, Program Director, IBM Rochester Briefing Center will deliver the keynote session, outlining all the changes to hardware and software. Then two streams will deliver the details for developers and systems managers and administrators. For developers, hear the big news about replacing WSDC with the Rational toolset for i, including all about the new collaborative working features allowing developers and users to interact in concert plus the changes and new features in RPG and a double session to get you started with the all-new Web Query for DB2.

For systems managers and administrators, find out about the all-new Integrated Web Application Server, the DB2 changes and new Data Warehousing features, changes in Performance Tools and how to use them, new High Availability options for the i and a chance to learn all about the new IBM System Director Navigator.

In addition to Chuck Wallace, he speakers will include Claus Weiss, advisory software consultant with the Rational Software System i – Ecosystem team at the IBM Canada Toronto Laboratory, Doug Mack, DB2 and Business Intelligence Specialist in IBM's Power Systems organization, Gottfried Schimunek, program manager for i5/OS and AIX on the System i platform in Rochester, and David Tulloch from IBM UK’s i team.

This is the only chance UK users will have to hear IBM’s experts talking about all the exciting new features available for IBM i users, administrators and developers. Two days of briefing, education and networking with IBM’s experts and the UK’s most switched-on users, all at the usual COMMON UK low rates.

This event, which is open to all (like all COMMON UK and IBM CUA events) should not be missed.
