My Midrange Upgrade Experiences

The perfect start to a ‘user group’ event – real life experiences from an IBM midrange customer,  Sadhna will give a ‘warts and all’ feedback on the experiences of a very long term IBM midrange customer

Sadhna joined Parker Hannifin in 2002 and has been doing her current role, Power Systems Project Leader, for the last 5 years. Sadhna's team supports round 24 partitions on both System i and System p and their prime function is to ensure that the systems are available 24/7. Sadhna's managed key projects, such as the Data Centre move from Hemel to Redditch, Hardware upgrades, OS upgrades, System "Role Swaps" and DR Testing.

An overview of the compliance requirements and best practice in the handling of personal data regarding employees, customers and contractors with practical guidance on the Data Protection Act and discrimination legislation.
Martin qualified as a solicitor in September 2000 and joined Kingsley Napley as a member of the Employment team in December 2008 from DLA Piper where he was an Associate.
Martin advises employers and executives nationally and internationally on employment issues. His key areas of specialisation are handling high value claims for breach of contract, unfair dismissal and discrimination in the Employment Tribunals and High Court as well as advising on the employment law aspects of business transfers. Martin has also advised employers on change management, including redundancies and outsourcing in insolvency situations. He also regularly advises on the enforcement of restrictive covenants and confidentiality obligations.

Carol Woodbury is President and co-founder of SkyView Partners, Inc., a firm specializing in security policy and compliance management software as well as security consulting and remediation services. Carol has over 16 years in the security industry, 10 of those working for IBM's Enterprise Server Group as the AS/400 Security Architect and Chief Engineering Manager of Security Technology.
