This briefing will examine the concept and practical aspects of what IBM calls On Demand. It promises to be a very comprehensive day featuring very knowledgeable speakers covering every aspect of this IBM initiative. From the ‘helicopter’ overview perspective right down to hardware and software platform information. One interesting case study that will be presented is how IBM helped to keep the wheels running smoothly at Wimbledon this year and we will be using this to illustrate the overall concept and delivery of On Demand. 10th - 11th  Common UK - iSeries Symposium

You won’t want to miss the Rochester Roadshow coming to Bristol this year.  In addition to the IBM speakers joining us from Rochester in the US, we have augmented the symposium with a number of local experts ready to raise the knowledge bar among our delegates. There is something for members from all aspects of the IT department.

In total there will be 22 sessions including speakers from the IBM laboratories in Rochester and a one day RPG University attendance at which is essential for any RPG specialists.

As with all Common UK events you will have plenty of opportunity to relax with old friends and meet new ones and we look forward to welcoming you to the symposium dinner and entertainment on the Tuesday evening.
